Sanjeev Dasari

Dr. Dasari is a senior researcher with the Co-Centre for Climate + Biodiversity + Water, in the Platform P2.5 Multi-scale environmental assessment of upland Natural Capital.

He has a background in Applied Environmental Sciences, and is leading the deployment of cutting-edge greenhouse gas monitoring systems across the spectrum of intact-to-degraded and restored peatlands at the Upland Hill Farm site in Northern Ireland.

He will use novel field data to disentangle carbon dynamics in upland peatlands and scientific evidence to support the development of a new peatland code for Northern Ireland. His interdisciplinary research will provide new insights to inform policy efforts towards the transition to net-zero and sustainability in Northern Ireland.
